Nusa Ceningan is one of the 3 islands in Southeast Bali. Ceningan is located in the middle, between Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida. Normally, Ceningan is considered to be a mere complementary destination because it is usually visited by passing the iconic yellow Bridge suspension from Lembongan.

Ceningan is also less exotic than Nusa Penida. However, that doesn’t mean Ceningan is devoid of lovely tourist attractions. There are several places that you can visit to simply adore the beauty or get an adrenaline rush in Ceningan. Here are those spots.

Blue Lagoon

Blue Lagoon is a rocky cove on the bluest water. The most common activity here is cliff jumping from one of the cliff ‘gates’ there. You can jump safely from a height of 4 meters, 6 meters, 8 meters, to about 14 meters. The water where you jump to is deep enough, so you don’t need to worry about touching the seabed.

You must always be careful about the waves. If the swells are too big, maybe you should not jump, save it for another day. Apart from that, the general view of Blue Lagoon is actually quite beautiful. So if cliff jumping is not your thing, you can just admire the scenery.

Secret Beach

Secret beach is really live up to its name. First, you have to walk through many natural obstacles to get to this beach. You will arrive at the lookout first, overlooking the whole cove that covers this area. Then, because the place is quite difficult to reach, not many tourists can get here. You might only encounter a few tourists at this secret beach.

This beach itself has a white sand strip with reefs scattered along its coast, so it is not suitable for swimming. But this beach is perfect for relaxing since the atmosphere is very calm and serene.

Mahana Point is actually a popular surfing break, with a sunset bar. There is a diving board where people jump from six and ten meters height. This board overlooks a beautiful blue sea with aquamarine tinge. If you love surfing, you can also rent a board in this area.

After you’re done playing with water, you can relax at the bar. There are quite good options in the menu, from Indonesian to continental food. Enjoying the sunset while chugging beers is quite popular to finish the day here.
